Charlotte and Nick – Wedding August 2009
Ceremony – Quendon Church
Reception – Parklands Quendon Essex

I met Charlotte, Nick and Charlotte’s parents at the Parklands open day. We hit it off immediately and Charlotte really liked the designs that I had on my stand and was very impressed with my portfolio. Charlotte and her Mum really wanted the “wow factor” for the wedding and also a very pretty style to the flowers.
Charlotte really liked soft pastel shades and we worked together to design the most beautiful, romantic bouquet of blooming, open roses in pinks and lilacs and old fashioned garden style roses with lily of the valley. We also included pink gypsophila which created a soft haze to the bouquet and arrangements and really brought in the romantic style that Charlotte liked.
The ceremony was held in a small very pretty country Church and Charlotte wanted the arrangements in the Church to reflect this style. We placed bunches of country style flowers on the pews and around the Church with a fabulous archway of foliage and hydrangeas around the entrance to the Church which we moved to the reception venue after the ceremony to frame the entrance to the marquee.
For the marquee Charlotte and Nick really wanted to create height on the tables to give the “wow” so we used twisted metal stands with large arrangements of roses and country flowers on top.
